Today we’ll tell you about ten popular eCommerce platforms, but from a different angle that allows you to understand how popular they are and which programming languages you need to know to benefit from using the site built on these platforms. The overall sales made by all the websites based on this platform are shown (by default) for 2021; however, there is no recent data in some cases, so we had to add some older information.

Magento commerce

An open-source eCommerce platform that has several options, free and paid. Merchants can set up their instances on their server or use a cloud-based environment.
