Splitit, a well-known BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) provider headquartered in New York, USA, announced a collaboration with BlueSnap, an All-in-One Payment Orchestration Platform for B2B and B2C businesses. The goal of the collaboration is to improve the checkout experience.
Splitit expects to increase its coverage among the mid-market and enterprise customers through BlueSnap’s network. According to the agreement between those companies, BlueSnap will be SplitIt’s preferred partner for installment processing.
Also, deep integration of the new Installments-as-a-Service BNPL platform is expected. For now, the integration process is expected to be complete by the third quarter of 2022. Once this is done, the installment platform will become easily accessible for merchants so that they can enable it with a few clicks.
This means that the new Installments-as-a-Service platform will be available in all the countries where BlueSnap is operational. Currently, this is about 200 countries and over 100 currencies. One of the benefits is that the integration won’t force customers to change their behavior at checkout since the orders won’t require any pre-approval. All the customers who already have a credit card will be able to use the service.
